some swap cards

my red white and blue swap cards really created a problem for me ysesterday i really had a H A R D time with red so they are very simple and DONE.   the tub card was fun the image was a digi and i really am upset with the coloring on the image  i used good paper but i don't the ink from the printer was dry  so i dried them even with a hair dryer not happy with digi stuff so far. the frame is cut with the creative memories reminisce cartridge and the saying is computer generated, the tub phrases are put with sentimental and i can't remember which other one.

maybe this week end i will post some of the scrapbook construction pages i just finished on national scrapbook day may 7 we'll see how that goes  used the cricut for many of those pages too.

bd gift for sister

my sister has a bd coming up and i made an album for her that she can put some pix of her grandbabies in.  we'll see how she is at that.  shoot  i found out recently she didn't even have a camera to even take pix of the twins so i gave her my old camera.  she  now has a place to start.   anyway here are just a few of the pages  now she can add whatever embellishments she wants to these and i will offer to help her is she needs help

stella is in non traditional colors but so is stella!!!   i love her.   the side step card was a first   it wasn't as hard
as i imagined, and cupid is stinkin CUTE!!    all the cards  have stickles on them somewhere which you can't see in these pictures   mostly  the hearts and wings   stella is an easel card & says inside happy valentine's schmalintine day,   the cupid says hogs and kisses  and the girl with heart says hugs and kisses.  the pig and heart girl open to a smaller card that opens opposite kinda fun to do

the holidays creep up  and gee i'm behind with these  but here are a few cards a couple of gift card holders for this year.  the card with the ornaments were done using the cuttlebug  embossing folders and the reindeer was done with the cuttlebug for embossing and the deer cut with the cricut  and the trees are scallop circles cut into 1/4 and have some stickles on them, the purple one is just scraps  the stockings are actually left over gift card holders from last year

gonna TRY to post more often

so lets start with  handsome fur children and move on to halloween then my first and last tile/grout job and then last to my thanksgiving table and the pilgram hats i made for each place setting and then forgot to put on the table...

She's back, but will the Turkey Lady live to see another day

Been awhile

have been busy working on the last of the Alaska album.   am hoping to finish it up in the next little while, am on the last city then just have to go do the memorabilia and a little bit of the prep stuff.  what i thought would be two albums is now three and i refuse to let it be more.  NO NO  NO!

i believe the ants here think it's already summer,  i've seen way too many of those dang things lately  both inside and out.. nagging little buggers.

well nothing to tell so  i'll be back when i  finish the trip albums....

i started my new yr with the usual 3 cups of cofffee and this jewel i stumbled upon and decided to try it,  LOVED IT!!!  i liked the maple sauce yumm    yummm   YUMMY please try it i think you will like it too.  

today's game plan is to get more painting done, then i can move on to looking at carpet and furniture and accessories. the colors chosen are way out of my color zone,  no green no purple!!!!  (well there will be some small purple accessories don't worry) the color scheme is chocolate and teal. cross your fingers and think good thoughts for this room.
